How to get Client ID and Client Secret for Outlook/Teams Integration with meetvue. How to open or restrict Allowed domains.

STEP 1:

Go to meetvue Dashboard and Click on Settings.

STEP 2:

In order to Integrate and sync your Outlook with meetvue App, Dashboard and Tablet you need Client ID and Client Secret . Now click on Azure Portal.

STEP 3:

Now Click on " Manage Azure Active Directory".

STEP 4:

Once inside the Azure Directory go to Apps Registration. Now Create New Registration. Enter Name as meetvue and for supported accounts must select "Accounts in any organizational directory( Any Azure Directory - Multitenant)" 

STEP 5:

Now Client ID is created Use the copy Button showing " Copy to Clipboard " and paste it inside the meetvue Dashboard.

STEP 6:

Now Click on certificates and Secrets . In the pop-up window In Description enter meetvue. In "Expires" choose "Never" and then click "Add" . Now Client Secret is created Use the copy Button showing " Copy to Clipboard " and paste it inside the meetvue Dashboard.

STEP 7:

Now Client Secret is created Use the copy Button showing " Copy to Clipboard " and paste it inside the meetvue Dashboard. 

STEP 8:

Now go to meetvue Dashboard Settings. Copy paste the Client Secret. Now both Client ID and Client Secret and "Redirect URL : https://account.meetvue.net/outlook-redirect" is populated. Now Click on Authorize . Once Authorized The Outlook Integration Completed.

Note: The first time when authorizing it takes sometime and the authorization can only be allowed by Admin of Microsoft . Users are not allowed to enter into azure directory who do not have sufficient privilege.

STEP 9a:

RESTRICTED "ALLOWED DOMAINS":

Go to meetvue Dashboard Settings. Enter your company domain name . Entering domain name will restrict only authorized user with domain name can have access to app.

STEP 9b:

RESTRICTED "ALLOWED DOMAINS" WITH MORE THAN 1 DOMAIN:

Go to meetvue Dashboard Settings. Enter the domain names you want to give access . Entering domain name will restrict only authorized user with domain name can have access to app.

STEP 9c:

EMPTY "ALLOWED DOMAINS" :

Go to meetvue Dashboard Settings. Remove all domain name. This will allowed access to anyone who have Company Code to create login .

Note: It's not recommended to have empty "Allowed Domains" . Admin should make decision which domain are allowed to access the meetvue app.
